i've got one that was diagnose as brush not so good ...but i bet it was not diagnosed in a proper manner which had forced me to change a used one ..paying rm350 for the alternator with a rm75 workmanship ..the alternator died on me the following weak with the same symptom i had previously ... then i had buy one more unit , this time from a seller here for rm200 and paid another rm50 for installing it ...so to cut the story short , i've still got the 1st alternator lying in my porch and would give out free for you ..if you want it ..yehh free as it's no longer in use ..the alternator is from an m40 318i'm not sure on it's workability , but as you are only looking for a bearing , that should be OK
