The older iDrive is not as friendly as the new one though. Not sure if the 2008 gets the new iDrive (my E90 2010 model comes with it).I personally like the BMW 6 cylinder engine... smooth and creamy...Maintenance of the car would be more ex than the Civic I should think... But the pleasure of driving the car would also be much more.</blockquote>
