My dream classic car (other than a Jaymic prepared 2002 :) ) would be this beauty :

Another (sorry about pic quality.... used MS Paint to reduce size to under 80kb.... crude but effective  )

A definate classic! One of my favorites and high on the wish list as well! There are several nice examples running about in KL, market price these days range frm RM180k and beyond......Would love to have one in Brilliant Silver with Red leathers.....Sluuurp!

i like the drop top version too!! when i was staying in bangsar, one of the residents had 2 of em! also in the collection was a Mini cooper and a Alfa 164 with a No 1 plate...:)

damn...the car is older than most of us. My uncle used to own one, and I like to play with the car's unique turn indicator on the steering wheel. btw there is a write up on classic mercedes in yesterday's Sunday Star motoring.

Kev.... 180K?.... dang it!

2002..... 350SL?..... more power but same shape..... noice!

Mein Fuhrer..... 2 SLs?..... some people have all the luck.... dang it!

IMHO, classic Mercs are only nice as autos as their manual trannys are similar to operating farm equipment!

esp. the low 'cluk' sounds it makes when engaging gears!!

this might b a little different than da pagoda roof SL but its a classic SL nonetheless.

xcjustin.... thats another noice one

But I prefer the Pagoda for its 'boxier' shape (same reason why I like the E30 LOL!).... but that red leather...... make mine connolly and I would be in heaven......
