reliability

Hi, I have never owned a bmw and I am driving a Mercedes CDI 220 currently. Now, I am looking for a used BMW X3 (perhaps from 2012 and 2013) and would like to know X3 owners' experience especially for its reliability and maintenance cost. Your attention is highly appreciated. Best wishes KIM
